INSTANT READ DIGITAL COOKING THERMOMETER
This product is a high precision electronic probe thermometer, capable of measuring the temperature in both Celsius and
Fahrenheit. This Digital Cooking Thermometer can be used for outdoor grilling and other cooking purposes.
Specifications:
Measuring range : -58°F (-50°C) to 572°F (300°C)
Battery type: DC3V/CR1632
Auto Power ON: The thermometer will switch on automatically when probe is opened.
Auto Power OFF: The thermometer will switch off automatically when probe is stored.
Operating Instructions
1. Press “°C/°F" button to turn the unit on. Press to measure in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
2. Press "HOLD" before withdrawing from food. This will hold the temperature reading until pressed again.
3. Press “MAX/MIN” to display the maximum or minimum temperature. Press the “MAX/ MIN” key once to display the
maximum saved temperature. Press the key again to display the minimum saved temperature. Press a third time (or
wait 5 seconds) to return to normal display state.
4. Press the “ ” icon to turn the backlight display on. Press it again to turn the backlight display off.
(NOTE: There is a 5 second timer, which will cause the backlight to turn off automatically)
5. Self-Calibration (Your Thermometer Comes Pre-Calibrated)
Put the probe into a mixture of ice water with a 3:1 ratio of ice to water. The temperature shown on the LCD should
be within the range of 30-34°F (±1°C), and hold the CAL key for 2 seconds, and the LCD will display the character
"CAL", and the temperature displayed is automatically calibrated to 32°F (0°C).
The displayed character "CAL" then disappears, the calibration is completed, and the normal display state is returned.
Note: if not calibrated in the specified temperature of water, the character "CAL" on the LCD will keep flashing after
the key is pressed.
Warning
Do not use this product to test objects that exceed temperatures of 572°F (300°C).
After each use, clean the thermometer probe with warm water and mild detergent, and dry thoroughly. Then fold the
probe into the thermometer housing. Never submerge the gauge housing under water.

Helpful Tips
If you pre-cook meat or poultry, do so immediately before grilling.
Never defrost meat at room temperature or on a countertop.
Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours of taking food off the grill.
