Installation Instructions

Tighten Battery Terminals securely with pliers.
Terminals should NOT be just finger tight!!
NexPump with Phone Notification
Plug the NexPump and Phone Lines
into the supplied Surge Protector.
Use cable ties sparingly to secure all pump
and sensor cables along PVC.
Make sure cables DO NOT interfere with
sensor operation!!
Install multiple batteries in
PARALLEL ONLY!!
DO NOT CONNECT BATTERIES IN
SERIES!!
Or
Damage to unit will result!!
NexPump with Phone Notification
Use ONLY a RJ11 phone connector and it is highly recommended
to install the phone line surge protector before the NexPump Unit.
It is recommended to install separate discharges.
System capacity relies on this, in addition
provides a backup path from clogged discharge
pipes or faulty check valves or other scenarios
that may prevent water flow.
Set Correct Mode
After Installation is Complete Turn On Battery Charger
and enter Total Amp Hours of Connected Batteries.
Function 'K'
Both Sensors must be higher than the
intakes of BOTH PUMPS if Stacked.
Install Gray Sensor as ‘Sensor 1’ and
Black Sensor as ‘Sensor 2’.
Install ‘Sensor 2’ at least four (4) to six (6)
inches above ‘Sensor 1’.
Sensor 1 (Gray)
SS mounting clamps are designed to be installed into the loop
slot of Sensor brackets.
Unscrew SS clamp and feed through the slot for proper use.

Drill a 1/8” air relief hole in each vertical discharge PVC pipe .
Angle the drill hole downward, so water will spray into the pit area
and position the hole about 2 inches above the top of the elbow.
Use ONLY a 1/8” drill bit!!
DO NOT DRILL INTO THE PUMP OR THE ELBOW!!
