5 Maintenance
To reduce the risk of fire, keep the plaorm dust-free. To clean the unit, use a
so, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaners that may corrode or otherwise
damage aluminium, steel, or plasc parts of the plaorm.
If the connecon rods do not move freely, or generate squeaky or clicking
sounds, the rods ends may need lubricang. The rods are sufficiently lubri-
cated upon delivery, but the lubricant may be forced out of pressure points
overme. If you suspect this is the case:
1. Unplug the power cable.
2. Check if the connecon rod can be rotated freely by hand and if it does
not generate any noises.
3. Rotate the connecon rod to different posions and apply lubricant to
the ball swivel (marked in YELLOW on the picture).
4. Repeat above steps unl the problem is solved.
Do not, under any circumstances, allow the lubricant to get inside the
moon plaorm from secon because it might contaminate reference
posion sensor and affect the start-up calibraon roune. If the worse
case scenario, the moon plaorm will not be able to calibrated cor-
rectly and it will stop working unl sensors are cleaned or replaced.
