5 Maintenance
To reduce the risk of fire, keep the plaorm dust-free. To clean the unit, use a
so, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaners that may corrode or otherwise
damage aluminium, steel, or plasc parts of the plaorm.
If the connecon rods do not move freely, or generate squeaky or clicking
sounds, the rods ends may need lubricang. The rods are sufficiently lubri-
cated upon delivery, but the lubricant may be forced out of pressure points
overme. If you suspect this is the case:
1. Unplug the power cable.
2. Check if the connecon rod can be rotated freely by hand and if it does
not generate any noises.
3. Rotate the connecon rod to different posions and apply lubricant to
the ball swivel (marked in YELLOW on the picture).
4. Repeat above steps unl the problem is solved.
Do not, under any circumstances, allow the lubricant to get inside the
moon plaorm from secon because it might contaminate reference
posion sensor and affect the start-up calibraon roune. If the worse
case scenario, the moon plaorm will not be able to calibrated cor-
rectly and it will stop working unl sensors are cleaned or replaced.
