The 622GW Dash Cam comes with what3words enabled, allowing you to share precise locations easily.
what3words has divided the globe into 3m squares and given each one a unique 3 word address.
It means everywhere can be located with just three words.
In the event of a serious driving incident where you are incapacitated , the Emergency SOS feature
(pages 28-30) automatically sends your GPS location to the Emergency Services so they can be
dispatched to assist you.
However, should you be involved in an incident but are not in need of an ambulance, the Emergency SOS
should be cancelled. In this case, you will see the below screen, which will display your current what3words
location, which can then be passed on to a vehicle recovery service, taxi, or friend.
When the Dash Cam is in Video Mode, (either recording or not recording), and your vehicle is parked
and at a standstill, press the what3words button to the right of the Dash Cam screen to display your
current unique what3words location.
You can press the question mark icon on the what3words screen for further information about
what3words, as well as a link to their website, www.what3words.com.
