Quick Start Charging Your INVISIO® Q7 Charge the INVISIO® Q7 for 8 hours before first use. Connect the INVISIO® Q7 to a wall outlet using the A/C adapter. The red light on the INVISIO® Q7 indicates charging. When charged, the light turns off. WARNING! Only use the supplied charging unit(s). If other power supplies are used, the INVISIO® Q7 or battery can be damaged, and NEXTLINK A/S cannot be held responsible.
Bone Conductive Microphone Your INVISIO® Q7 uses the patented Bone Conductive Microphone technology that captures vibration in the user´s jawbone and converts it to sound. Because speech is not passed through air, ambient noise is effectively eliminated. Combined with Digital Signal Processing for echo and noise cancellation, the INVISIO® Q7 is the ultimate headset in noisy environments.
Wearing Your INVISIO® Q7 Use your index finger to bend the Soft Spring, and insert the headset in your ear. For best audio quality, place the headset and phone on the same side of your body or within line of sight. Place the Soft Spring in the upper bend of your ear. It is essential to the sound, how a headset with Bone Conduction Microphone sits in the ear, meaning the small balloon-shaped microphone needs to be in touch with the ear canal, otherwise no sound will be transmitted.
Turning ON/OFF To turn on the headset, press the TALK button until the green light flashes five times followed by two tones. When turned on, the headset automatically connects to the most recent connected device. TALK To turn off the headset, press the TALK button until the red light flashes five times followed by two tones. Note: Audio tones can be heard only when wearing the headset. Pairing with a Bluetooth® Device The INVISIO® Q7 can pair with up to eight devices.
To pair the headset with a device (in OFF state): 1. Hold down the TALK button until the red and green lights flash repeatedly. Note: The headset is in pairing mode for 5 minutes. The first time the INVISIO® Q7 is turned on it will automatically enter into pairing mode. 2. Use your device’s Bluetooth® menu to search for the headset. When found, “INVISIO® Q7” appears in the device’s list. 3. If the device requests a passkey, enter 0000. To pair the headset with a device (in ON state): 1.
Answering Calls/Hangup/Reject a call The headset sounds an alert for incoming calls. To answer the call, press the TALK button. To hang up, press the TALK button again. To reject a call, hold down the TALK button for 3 seconds. Note: Audio tones can be heard only when wearing the headset. Operation Adjusting the Volume Use the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons to adjust the volume. Each adjustment is followed by a tone. When the minimum or maximum level has been reached, a different beep can be heard.
Note: The INVISIO® Q7 saves the last used volume settings when turned off. Mute To mute the headset microphone, press VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN at the same time for 3 seconds. To unmute, press both buttons again for about 3 seconds. While muted, the headset beeps twice every 10 seconds. Note: Audio tones can be heard only when wearing the headset. Call Waiting To answer a second call, press the TALK button for 1 second. The headset places the active call on hold and answers the new call.
Conference Call To connect the “on hold” call to the conference call, press and hold the VOLUME UP button for 1 second, or until the headset beeps. Note: Conference call must be supported by your phone and service provider. Transferring and Ending a Call To transfer the second call to the “on-hold” call as well as disconnect yourself from the conversation, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button for 1 second, or until the headset beeps. Note: The service must be supported by your phone and service provider.
Note: The functionallity needs to be supported by your phone. Transferring a Call to a Mobile Phone To transfer a call from the headset to or from a mobile phone, press twice on the TALK button in order to transfer the audio to a mobile phone or from the mobile phone to the headset. Voice Dialing The INVISIO® Q7 supports voice dialing. Refer to your phone’s owner’s manual to set up voice dialing. To use voice dialing, press the TALK button and then complete your phone’s voice-dial procedure.
