17. Examples of Basic Functions
Turn on the NVS2825 by pressing the power
button for several seconds. Wait for the
“XCopy ready”mode, then insert an SxS card into
the ExpressCard slot located on the left side of
the device.
The NVS2825 detects the memory card and
analyzes it.
The result of the backup analysis is shown on
the LCD. The total number of files--in addition to
the data capacity of the SxS card -- is shown
on the LCD. The NVS2825 will wait for the
completion of the backup analysis before
starting to copy.
The copy status is shown on the LCD.

17.2. Copying a Cardbus memory card
(including P2/P2E cards)
The Memory card slot for a CardBus-type memory card
(including P2/P2E) is located on the top of the NVS2825.
Insert the CardBus memory card into the slot. The remaining
procedure is the same as for SxS memory cards.
17.3. Copying a CF card
Copying a CF card is the same as copying an SxS card--except
that the CF card requires the CF card adapter which is
delivered with the NVS2825.
First, connect the CF card to
the CF card adapter, then insert
the card into the ExpressCard slot
of the NVS2825.
The NVS2825 will display an error
message if an empty CF card
adapter is inserted.
