RJ-45 Ethernet connector

 toyourIPnetwork.
ThenetworksengsdefaulttodynamicallyobtainanIPaddress
fromaDHCPserveronthenetwork.Formostnetworkenviron-
ments,youdonotneedtomodifythesedefaultsengs.Ifthe
systemdoesnotndaDHCPserveroritremainsunavailableonthe
network,itassignsitsownIPaddress.
Onceconnectedtoanetwork,youshouldbeabletoaccessthebuilt-
inwebserverbybrowsingtotheuniquemachinename(theserial
numberlocatedontheboomorsideoftheappliance).Youmay
alsosettheIPaddressthroughthewebinterface.
IfyoudonothaveaDHCPnetworkoryoucannotconnecttothe
systemthroughitsDNSname,youcanconnectamonitortothe
DVI-Iport,mouse,andkeyboarddirectlytotheUSBports(oneis
locatedonthefrontpanelandsixareonthebackpanel

).TheGoStreamsystemwillhaveaMicroso®Windows7
desktop.
Therstmeyoupowerupthethesystem,ittakesafewmomentsto
bootup.TheLCDdisplaywillpresentaseriesofmenusthatwillassist
youinsengupthesystemclockanddate.
1) PressPoweronthefrontpanel.Aerthesystempowers
uptherstme,thefollowingscreenappears:
3)UsetheUpandDownarrowstochangethenumerical
 valueofthemonth.
5)UsethesameprocesstosettheDayandYearunlyouare
 sasedwithyoursengs.
7)Niagarasystemsusea24-hourclockformat,foritssystemclock
entries. UsetheUp,Down,andStreambuonstosetthehours
 andminutesofthesystemclock.
10) Fromaseparatecomputeronthesamenetworkasthe
 system,launchawebbrowsersuchasInternetExplorer
 andentertheserialnumberorIPaddressofyoursystem
 intheaddressbar.Theserialnumbercanbelocatedonthe
 boomorsideoftheapplianceintheformatGNxxxxxxxx.
 TheserialnumberandIPaddressalsoappearontheLCD
 screensonthefrontpanel.
11)ClickintheUser Nameeldandenteradminastheusername.
 ClickinthePasswordeldandenteradminasthepassword.
 Then,clickLog in or press Enter.

interfacealsoallowsquickandeasyaccesstoitsoperaonalfeatures.
YoumustmodifyanyadvancedsetupoponsoftheGoStreamencod-
ersthroughthisinterfacebeforerunninganencodersession.Please
refertotheGoStream User GuideontheincludedCDformoredetailed
instrucons.
CompletethefollowingstepstobeginoperangtheGoStreamsystem:
DC power connector for 12 volts,
