Elegant premium metal resin / premium resin traverne backsplash le murals bring a meless natural beauty to your place. 'Hand
Made' murals of nature contain variaons in color, texture, weight, shading and weining. Every piece of handmade murals is created
to be unique and all pieces are different look. A certain amount of variaon in shade of metal / traverne, metal / traverne tone and
dimensions is to be expected. Such variaons only enhance the natural beauty, character and uniqueness of the le. Brand new
metal/ traverne mural (shaded ivory gold or silver leaf, high polish, anque nickel, pewter, polished bronze, oil rubbed bronze, rusc
emerald, wrought iron, bronze, brushed nickel and rust finishes) may not look exactly like the le on web photo that have been
grouted, cleaned, polished, sealed and had me to age.
Premium Metal /Traverne Resin must be kept flat unl installaon. If warping does occur, lay the piece on a flat warm surface (in the
sun) and it will flaen. An aempt to flaen a cold piece could cause damage. Plaques can be used behind cooktops / fire place as an
insert in showers and cabinets. For plaques, use a product such as along with a quick set epoxy on the corners to hold unl the
adhesive sets.
Warning: Plaques installed above a cooktop, outdoor kitchen or fireplace must be set 4” to 6” above and 2” to 4” back from heat
source and have a minimum 2-inch set back from the profile (face of the le). Failure to do so may result in damage and will void the
warranty. Heat source includes oven vents and fireplace blowers.
If using an adhesive allow to off-gas (5-7 days) first, and then run a clear bead of silicone around outside edges to keep moisture out.
Failure to do so may cause piece to delaminate from substrate.

installaon unl all products are on site. Premium metal / traverne backsplash mural le delivered on site, please adjust
your installaon area dimension according to product dimension and thickness by your product.

mural le 4” to 6" above and 2" to 4” back from any heat source. Lay out your mural on a flat surface and plan your
installaon.
3. Make sure the installaon surface is clean and free of wallpaper, grease / le etc. If your surrounding field les (porcelain or
ceramic les) or natural stones (marble/traverne/granite) are a lot thicker and you want to mural to be at the same depth,
you can simply screw a 1/8" or 1/4" mdf or leboard to your wall and mount the premium metal / resin backsplash le mural
les on that.
4. If you are pung a border around the mural, most borders are much higher than le and will therefore make an automac
transion between differing le depths. When you lay out you les first on a flat surface, you can plan for this.

7. If there is not an exisng space, backsplash or support on your wall, nail or screw a small straight wood bar directly below the
boom space of where your mural will be installed. Use a level to make sure the wood bar is straight and level. This will
prevent the les from slipping down during installaon and curing.
8. Starng with the boom line , spread a layer of premixed white le adhesive or masc on the wall then use a 3/16" notched

excess off the les with a wet sponge.

14. Remove excess grout using the edge of the float then wipe the grouted le clean with a wet sponge at a 45 degree angle
being careful to keep from indenng the grout lines.
