8.2 Factory Reset
8.3 Failed Firmware Upgrade
Reasons for restoring the Doorbell to factory settings:
The Wi-Fi network password has changed.
The router has been reset.
If you decide to switch the Doorbell from a Wi-Fi network connection to the Night Owl Gateway Setup
(or vice versa).
If the Doorbell is not working properly or has glitches.

NOTE: Another option is to drain the Doorbell battery (turn off the power switch on the breaker and let the doorbell die).
NOTE: You can also wait for the Doorbell to perform its weekly check for an upgrade.
The Doorbell will fail to upgrade if the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted or not strong enough. In this
case, the doorbell needs to be upgraded manually in the Night Owl Connect App settings menu.
If the upgrade process continues to fail, the Doorbell will need to be reset.
