Problem Cause Countermeasure
The heart rate is
unstable.
Pacing detection setting on the
monitor is not correct.
Turn off the pacing detection setting on the
monitor.

Electrode lead is disconnected

Probe attachment condition is
poor. Probe is partly detached

Firmly attach the probe according to
the procedure in the probe operators
manual.
Measurement site is dirty.
Patient is wearing nail polish.
Remove dirt and nail polish.
Probe is attached to the same
limb that is used for NIBP
measurement.
When the probe and cuff are attached
tothesamelimb,set“INHIBIT
SpO
2
DURING NIBP” setting on the
PARAMETER SETUP screen to ON.
Attach the probe to the opposite limb.
Avoid a site where blood circulation
condition changes greatly.
