4. PROGRAMMING AND USE
4.1. Programming the bell push button
Programming of a bell push button is described in detail in the manual of the system power supply (10-
801, 10-802 or 10-806) or the service set (10-870).
If you use the service set, tear off the serial number that you will find behind the nameplate or in the
box. Stick this serial number on the installation diagram.
You can programme only two internal units in the memory location of each bell push button. If you want
to use more internal units, you will need to programme them parallel (master/slave). See manual of the
service set or internal unit.
A non-programmed bell push button will switch the light relay of the power supply.
4.2. General operation
If everything has been correctly connected and you switch on the external unit, the LED of the external
unit will light up. When picking up the receiver of an internal unit, communication with the external unit
should be possible at all times.
If you press:
a non-programmed bell push button, you will hear a high beep and the light relay of the power
supply is switched.
a programmed bell push button, you will hear the bell ringing at the external and the internal unit.
The image of the visitor is displayed on the internal video unit.
4.3. Nameplate lighting
The lighting of the nameplate is dependent on the ambient light. When there is sufficient ambient light,
the background lighting of the nameplate switches off. Cover the light sensor with your hand to test this
operation.
