The Setup Menu
To display the setup menu, press G and select the setup
menu tab (B).
The setup menu contains the following options:
G button
Reset setup options
Reset setup menu options to default values
(0 152).
Format memory card Format the memory card (0 153).
Slot empty release lock
Allow the shutter to be released when no memory
card is inserted in the camera (0 153).
Welcome screen Display a welcome message at startup (0 154).
Display brightness Adjust the brightness of the displays (0 154).
Grid display Display a framing grid (0 154).
Sound settings
Choose the sounds made during shooting
(0 155).
Auto power off Choose the auto power off delay (0 155).
Remote on duration
Choose how long the camera waits for a signal
from a remote control (0 156).
