Viewing Movies
Movies are indicated by a 1 icon in full-frame playback (0 185).
Press J to start
playback.
The following operations can be performed:
1 icon Length Current position/total length

To Use Description
Pause Pause playback.
Play J
Resume playback when movie is paused or during rewind/
advance.
Rewind/
advance
Speed increases with each press, from
2× to 4× to 8× to 16×; keep pressed to
skip to beginning or end of movie (first frame is indicated by h
in top right corner of monitor, last frame by i).
If playback is
paused, movie rewinds or advances one frame at a time; keep
pressed for continuous rewind or advance.
Skip 10 s Rotate the main command dial to skip ahead or back 10 s.
Skip ahead/
back
Rotate the sub-command dial to skip to the last or first frame.
Adjust volume

(T)/
W (S)
Press
X
(T) to increase volume, W (S) to decrease.

Exit
/K
Exit to full-frame playback.
Return to
shooting mode
Press the shutter-release button halfway to exit to shooting
mode.
