Install the supplied software to display and
edit photographs and movies that have
been copied to your computer.
Before
installing ViewNX 2, confirm that your
computer meets the system requirements
on page 202.
Be sure to use the latest
version of ViewNX 2, which is available for
download from the websites listed on page
xxvi, as earlier versions that do not support the D7100 may fail to transfer NEF (RAW)
images correctly.
1 Launch the installer.
Start the computer, insert the ViewNX 2 installer CD,
and launch the installer.
2 Select a language.
If the desired language is not
available, click Region Selection to
choose a different region and then
choose the desired language (region
selection is not available in the
European release).
3 Start the installer.
Click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
