Red-eye
reduction
Use for portraits. The flash fires with every
shot, but before it fires, the red-eye
reduction lamp on the flash unit lights to
reduce “red-eye” (a flash unit with red-eye
reduction is required). Not recommended
with moving subjects or in other situations
in which quick shutter response is
required. Do not move camera during
shooting.
K
Slow sync+
red-eye
As for Red-eye reduction except that
shutter speed slows automatically to
capture background lighting at night or
under low light. Use when you want to
include background lighting in portraits.
Use of a tripod is recommended to prevent
blurring caused by camera shake.
