Alert Problem Solution

Subject too bright;
limits of camera

・ Lower ISO sensitivity.
・ Shooting mode P: Use third-party
ND (neutral density) lter (lter can
also be used if alert is still displayed
after following settings are
adjusted in mode S or A).
・ Shooting mode S: Choose faster
shutter speed.
・ Shooting mode A: Choose smaller
aperture (higher f-number).
Subject too dark;
limits of camera
exposure metering
system exceeded.
・ Increase ISO sensitivity.
・ Shooting mode P: Use optional
ash unit (ash can also be used if
alert is still displayed after
following settings are adjusted in
mode S or A).
・ Shooting mode S: Choose slower
shutter speed.
・ Shooting mode A: Choose wider
aperture (lower f-number).
