Preset Manual
Preset manual is used to record and recall custom white balance settings for shooting
under mixed lighting or to compensate for light sources with a strong color cast.
Two
methods are available for setting preset white balance:
The camera can store up to five values for preset white balance in presets d-0 through
d-4.
A descriptive comment can be added to any white balance preset (0 129).
Method Description
Measure
Neutral gray or white object is placed under lighting that will be used in final photo
and white balance measured by camera (0 124).
Use photo White balance is copied from photo on memory card (0 126).
d-0
Stores last value measured for white balance
(0 124).
This preset is overwritten when a new
value is measured.
d-1–d-4
Store values copied from d-0 (0 126).
Store values copied from images on
memory card (0 126).
