Movies
Editing Movies
When editing movies, use a sufficiently charged battery to prevent the camera from
turning off during editing.
Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie
The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file.
1 Play back a desired movie and pause at the start point of the
portion that you want to extract (A97).
2 Use the multi selector JK to select the
I control, and then press the
k button.
3 Use HI to select J (choose start
point).
• Use JK or rotate the command dial to move the
start point.
• To cancel editing, select O (back), and press the
k button.

• Use JK or rotate the command dial to move the
end point.
• To preview the specified portion, use HI to
select F and then press the k button. Press the
k button again to stop previewing.
