Please observe the following
guidelines strictly so you can use the
equipment properly and avoid
potentially hazardous problems.
Before using this product, read
thoroughly the “For your safety”
section and instructions on correct
usage accompanying the product.
Keep this manual within reach for
easy reference.

Never look at the sun
directly through the
Fieldscope.
Do not disassemble the
Fieldscope, nor repair/
remodel it.
Failure to observe this may
result in electric shock or

Do not soak the Fieldscope
in water, nor pour water over
the Fieldscope intentionally.

cause ignition or electric

If internal parts of the
Fieldscope are exposed as
the result of a fall or other
accident, do not touch
them.
Electric shock or other injury
may be caused by touching
broken parts.
Remove batteries from the
body, then request repair
from a Nikon-authorized
service representative.
Should you notice heat,
smoke or an unusual
smell coming from the
Fieldscope, remove batteries
immediately.
If you continue using it, it may
cause a fire or burn. When
removing batteries, take care
to avoid burns.
After removing them,
