Option Description
u Auto (default setting)
The AF-assist illuminator automatically lights up when you
press the shutter-release button under dim lighting. The
illuminator has a range of about 1.9 m (6 ft 3 in.) at the
maximum wide-angle position and about 1.7 m (5 ft 7 in.) at
the maximum telephoto position.
• Note that for some settings, the AF-assist illuminator may
not light.
b Off The AF-assist illuminator does not light.
