elect whether or not to x exposure (brightness), and press the
button (except [N
ight sky (150 minutes)] and [Star trails
(150 minutes)]).

When [AE-L on] is selec
ted, the exposure used for the rst image is used for all
images. When the brightness changes drastically like at dusk, [AE-L o] is
recommended.

tabilize the camera by using a tool such as a tripod.

ress the shutter-release button to capture the rst image.

S
et exposure compensation (
Exposure compensation (page 117)) before
r
eleasing the shutter for the rst image (when using [Night sky (150 minutes)] or
[Star trails (150 minutes)], exposure compensation cannot be used). Exposure
compensation cannot be changed after the rst image is captured. Focus and hue
are xed when the rst image is captured.

When capturing images of stars, it is recommended that you use manual focus.

he shutter is automatically released for the second and subsequent images.

End shooting

Shooting ends automatically when 300 or 250 images are captured.
