Images not displayed on
television.
• Video mode or HDMI is not correctly set in
the TV settings setup menu.
• Both an HDMI cable and an audio/video
cable, or both an HDMI cable and a USB cable
are connected.
• Memory card contains no images. Replace the
memory card. Remove the memory card to
play back images from the internal memory.
• TV display is turned off and images are
displayed in the camera monitor.

Album icon restored to default
settings, or images added to
album not displayed in favorite
pictures mode.
Data on the memory card may not be played
back correctly if overwritten by a computer.

The saved images are not
displayed in auto sort mode.
• The desired image was sorted to a category
other than the category currently displayed.
• Images saved by a camera other than the
COOLPIX S6100 and images copied using the
Copy option cannot be displayed in auto sort
mode.
• Images saved in the internal memory or on
the memory card may not be played back
correctly if overwritten by a computer.
• Up to 999 images and movies in total can be
added to each category. If the desired
category already contains 999 images or
movies in total, new images or movies cannot
be added.

Nikon Transfer 2 does not start
when camera is connected.
• Camera is off.
• Battery is exhausted.
• USB cable is not correctly connected.
• Camera is not recognized by the computer.
• Confirm system requirements.
• Computer is not set to start Nikon Transfer 2
automatically. For more information on Nikon
Transfer 2, refer to help information contained
in ViewNX 2.
