Recording Movies
Recording and Playing Back Movies
C Functions Available in Movie Recording
• The exposure compensation and White balance settings in shooting menu (A61) are also
applied with movie recording.
• When macro mode is enabled, movies of subjects closer to the camera can be recorded. Confirm
settings before starting movie recording.
• The self-timer (A53) can be used. If the self-timer is set and the b (e movie-record) button is
pressed, the camera starts movie recording after 10 or 2 seconds.
• The flash does not fire.
• Press the d button before starting to record the movie to display the e (movie) menu icon
and select movie menu settings (A86).
C Recording HS (High Speed) Movies
When Movie options (A86) in movie menu is set to k HS 240/8×, h HS 480/4×, i HS
720/2× or j HS 1080/0.5×, movies that can be played back in slow motion or fast motion can
be recorded.
