Features That Can Be Set Using the Multi Selector
Shooting Features
Adjusting Brightness (Exposure Compensation), Vividness,
and Hue (Creative Slider)
When the shooting mode is set to A (auto) mode, use the creative slider to
adjust brightness (exposure compensation), vividness, and hue for taking pictures.
Operating the Creative Slider
1 Press the multi selector K (o).
2 Press the multi selector J or K to select o, G or F.
- o: Brightness (Exp. +/-) (exposure compensation)
- G: Vividness (saturation adjustment)
- F: Hue (white balance adjustment)
3 Adjust the brightness, vividness, or hue.
• Use the multi selector as explained below.
- HI: The slider moves. The effect can be adjusted
while confirming the results on the monitor. The
effect can also be adjusted by rotating the multi
selector.
- J K: Switches between Brightness (Exp. +/-)
(exposure compensation), vividness, and hue.

• To turn off the effects of the creative slider, press J or K to select P, and press the
k button.
