Features That Can Be Set Using the Multi Selector
Shooting Features
Default settings in scene mode are described below.

U (auto) or W (off) can be selected. When U (auto) is selected, the camera
automatically selects the flash mode appropriate for the scene it has selected.

The setting cannot be changed.

Flash is fixed at X (fill flash) when HDR is set to Off, and is fixed at W (off) when HDR is set
to On.

The setting cannot be changed. Fill flash fires for red-eye reduction.

May switch to slow sync with red-eye reduction flash mode. Other settings can be
selected.

The self-timer is not available. Pet portrait auto release (A42) can be set to on or off.
