Option Description
Standby timer
Choose whether the standby timer remains active
while a GPS device is connected.
If Enable is selected,
the exposure meters will turn off automatically if no
operations are performed for the period specified in
Custom Setting c2 (Standby timer, 0 71), although
GP-1 and GP-1A location data units will continue to
acquire location data for a period after the timer has
turned off.
Select Disable to disable the standby timer
when a GPS device is connected.
Position
This item is only available if the GPS device is
connected, when it displays the current latitude,
longitude, altitude, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC),
and heading (if supported) as reported by the GPS
device.
Set clock from
satellite
Select Ye s to synchronize the camera clock with the
time reported by the GPS device.
A Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
UTC data is provided by the GPS device and is independent of the
camera clock.
