To use Active D-Lighting:
1 Select Active
D-Lighting in the
shooting menu.
To display the menus, press
the G button.
Highlight
Active D-Lighting in the
shooting menu and press
2.
2 Choose an option.
Highlight the desired
option and press J.
If
Y Auto is selected, the
camera will automatically
adjust Active D-Lighting
according to shooting
conditions (in exposure mode h, however, Y Auto is
equivalent to Q Normal).
D Active D-Lighting
Active D-Lighting can not be used with movies.
Noise (randomly-
spaced bright pixels, fog, or lines) may appear in photographs taken
with Active D-Lighting.
Uneven shading may be visible with some
subjects.
Active D-Lighting can not be used at ISO sensitivities of Hi 0.3
or above.

bracketing set, 0 325), the camera varies Active D-Lighting over a
series of shots.
