❚❚ Adjusting Monitor Brightness
Monitor brightness can be adjusted as described below.
Note that
brightness adjustment is not available during exposure preview.
1 Highlight the monitor brightness
indicator.
Press and hold W and press 4 or 2 to
highlight the monitor brightness
indicator at the right side of the
display.
2 Adjust monitor brightness.
Keeping the W button pressed, press
1 or 3 to adjust monitor brightness
(note that monitor brightness has no effect on photographs
taken with the camera).
If A (auto) is selected and the monitor
is on, the camera will automatically adjust brightness in
response to ambient lighting conditions as measured by the
ambient brightness sensor (0 6).
A Recalling Monitor Hue
To restore the most recently selected hue when starting live view,
hold the U button while pressing a.
