Step 2 — Place Film in the Holder
Step 2 — Place Film in the Holder
The fi lm holders provided with the scanner can be used to scan 35-mm fi lm, 35-mm slides,
medium-format fi lm, and 59 × 82 mm electron microscope fi lm.

Choose a holder
Choose a holder appropriate to the type of fi lm.
Caring for Holders and Film
Keep holders and fi lm free of dust. If necessary, remove dust from holders and fi lm with a blower before
scanning. Dust on the fi lm or holder could damage the fi lm or affect the quality of the scanned image
(

Optional Film Holders
Optional fi lm holders are available for 16-mm and panorama fi lm, medium-format slides, and glass mi-
croscope slides. For more information, see “Optional Holders” (
51).
