Display the “System Properties” dialog

Select Control Panel from the Start
menu, open Performance and Main-
tenance, and click System.

Open the “Hardware” panel and click the Device Manager button.

Click the “Device Manager” tab.

Check the IEEE 1394 host controller
Confi rm that “NEC Firewarden OHCI
Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller”
is listed under “IEEE 1394 Bus host con-
trollers” (Windows XP, Windows 2000
Professional) or “1394 Bus Controller”
(Windows Me).
