Click Next
The dialog shown at right will be dis-
played. Click Next.
The “Insert Disk” Dialog
If the “Insert Disk” dialog is displayed,
insert the Windows 98 Second Edition
CD and click OK. If Windows displays a
message stating that a fi le could not be
found, enter the drive letter of the CD-
ROM drive followed by “\win98_se”
(e.g., “d:\win98_se”) in the Copy fi les
from text box and click OK.

Click Finish
The dialog shown at right will be dis-
played. Click Finish.

Open the “System Properties” dialog
After the computer restarts, click the My
Computer icon with the right mouse
button and select Properties from the
menu that appears.

Check the IEEE 1394 host controller
Click the Device Manager tab and con-
fi rm that “NEC Firewarden OHCI Com-
pliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller” is listed
under “1394 Bus Controller.”
