Using the Camera
Switching Between Smart Device and Remote Control
The camera cannot be operated by both the remote control and a smart device at the
same time. Follow the procedure below to switch from one to the other.
Switching from Smart Device to Remote Control
Switch the connection from a smart device to a paired remote control.
1 Select Camera & remote in Choose connection in Network
menu.
• The camera connects to the remote control.
2 Turn on the remote control.
• A connection is established between the camera
and remote control. The R icon is displayed on the
shooting screen.
Switching from Remote Control to Smart Device
Switch the connection from the remote control to a paired smart device.
1 Turn on the camera and remote control, then press and hold the
w button on the remote control.
• The camera connects to the smart device.
2 Launch the SnapBridge 360/170 app on your smart device.
• A connection is established between the camera and smart device. The B icon is
displayed on the shooting screen.
