o recall the last-saved focus position. Normal auto- or manual
focus will be restored when the ring is released.
Pressing the Shutter-Release Button Halfway During
Memory Recall
How focus will r
espond if the shutter-release button is pressed halfway while the
Fn ring is rotated varies with the camera:
• Cameras other than the Z 30: The camera will not refocus if the shutter-release
button is pressed halfway while the Fn ring is rotated, regardless of the focus
mode selected.
• Z 30 cameras: In autofocus mode, the camera will refocus if the shutter-release
button is pressed halfway during memory recall. This can be prevented by
selecting [AF-ON only] for [AF activation] in the camera menus.
