The Camera Control Window

Capturing Photographs to Disk

If Nikon Capture 3 Camera Control is running when a D100 camera is connected, or a D1-

series camera is connected and set to PC mode, pictures taken with the camera will be stored

on your computer hard disk, not the camera memory card.

Start Nikon Capture 3 Camera Control ( 190)

Connect the camera

to your computer and turn the cam-

era on. If you are using a D1-series camera, set the oper-

ating mode to PC.

Connect the camera to your computer.

Start Nikon Capture 3 Camera Control.

Choose a destination for captured images.

Choose the application in which captured im-

ages will be displayed.

Take pictures.

Finish shooting.

Open the Camera Control window

Open the Download Options dialog

Open the Preferences dialog

Exit Camera Control.
