Camera
care
tips
o
Turn
the
came
ra
OFF
when
not
in
use
,
to
avoid
accidental
release
of
the
shutter
and
resulting
battery
dr
ain
.
o
Avoid
leaving
the
camera
in
excessively
hot
pl
aces
such
as
the
interior
of
a
car
,
a
beach
or
near
a
heater.
o
Allow
the
camera
to
coo
l
off
after
con
t
inuous
flash
firing.
Overuse
generates
heat
in
battery
and
camera.
o
The
camera
may
not
work
properly
at
l
ow
temperatures
(be
l
ow
O°C
or
32l).
Keep
the
camera
warm.
o
Do
not
drop
or
hit
the
camera
against
a
hard
su
r
face
as
it
may
damage
the
precision
mechanism.
o
Prevent
foreign
matter
from
getting
inside
the
camera.
Immediately
wipe
salt,
sand
and
dust
from
the
camera
with
a
soft,
dry
cloth
.
o
Use
a
blower
to
remove
dust
from
the
lens.
If
necessary,
use
a
cloth
moistened
with
lens
cleaner.
Cl
ean
the
autofocus
windows
wi
th a
soft
cloth.
o
Never
use
thinner
,
benzene
, or
other
act
i
ve
agents.

Store
the
camera
in
a
cool,
dry
place
to
prevent
mold.
Do
not
expose
it
to
chemi
-
cals
su
ch
as
camphor
and
naphthalene
.

end

a
desiccating
agent
during
storage.

If

he
camera
is
not
used
for
a
long
time,
take
it
o
ut
regularly,
release
the
sh
u
tter
and
fire
t
he

ash
a
few

mes
.
Notes

batteries
o
Battery
power
is
apt
to
weaken
as
the
temperature
drops
below
O°C (32l).
It
wi
ll
recover
when
tak
i
ng
pictures
at
low
temperatu
re
return
to
normal.
When
taking
Ei
pictures
at
low
temperatures
,
keep
the
battery
warm.

Be
sure
to
replace
batteries
with
fresh
ones
or
carry
spare
batteries

taking
important
pictures
