Manual Multiple Flash Photography
Connect the 88-20 and other flash units with the
optional Nikon 8ync Cord
8C-11 or 8C-15 via the
88-20
's multiple flash terminal.
For correct exposure
in manual mu ltiple flash opera-
tion,
be sure a ll flash units are set at manual flash mode.
Caution
To avoid damaging the fla sh units or incorrect operation,
never mix Nikon SpeedJight with flash units
of o th er manu-
facturers.

AVOIDING "RED EYE"----
"Red eye " is a common phenomenon in flash photog-
raphy where the center port
io ns of a subject's eyes
appear as bright
red orbs in color photographs, or
white
in black-and-white picture s.
To avoid " red eye ," take any or a ll of the followi ng p re-
cautions:
- A
sk the su bject not to lo ok directly into the lens when
the picture is taken.
- Us
ing a sync cord or TTL Remote Cord 8C-17 , remove
the flash unit from the camera
an d hold it as far away
from the camera
as po ss ible.
- Increase the overall room illumination to reduce
opening of the subject's pupil
