AttenuatorAttenuator
Enable the attenuator to reduce microphone gain and prevent audio
distortion when lming in loud environments.
Settings can be adjusted using [Attenuator] in the video recording
menu.
Select [ON] to reduce audio distortion when recording videos.
Frequency ResponseFrequency Response
Choose the range of frequencies to which built-in and external micro-
phones respond.
Settings can be adjusted using [Frequency response] in the video re-
cording menu.
[Wide range]: Record a wide range of frequencies. Choose for every-
thing from music to the bustling hum of a city street.
[Vocal range]: Choose for human voices.
Wind Noise ReductionWind Noise Reduction
Enable the low-cut lter to reduce noise caused by wind blowing over
the built-in microphone.
Settings can be adjusted using [Wind noise reduction] in the video re-
cording menu.
Select [ON] to enable wind-noise reduction.
Wind Noise Reduction
Note that other sounds may also be aected when [ON] is selected.
Selecting [ON] for [Wind noise reduction] has no eect on optional stereo microphones. Wind-noise
reduction for optional stereo microphones that support this feature can be enabled or disabled using
microphone controls.
