Position the subject in the center of the frame and press the shutter-
release button halfway to focus.

･ After conrming that the ash-ready indicator (

shooting display, press the [FV lock] control; the ash unit will
emit a monitor pre-ash to determine the appropriate ash level.
･ Flash output will lock and an FV lock icon (
