Charging the battery
Charge the supplied EN-EL25a/EN-EL25 battery in the supplied MH-32
batt
ery charger before use.

ead and follow the warnings and cautions in “For your safety” (029) and
“Caring for the camera and battery: Cautions” (0582).
･ To use the EN-EL25a, the camera's rmware version must be C: 1.50 or
later (0425).
･ P
lug the charger into a household outlet to charge it. In some
countries or regions, the charger may be supplied with the adapter
connected. The charger lamp ashes while charging, and lights up
when charging is complete.
･ A battery will fully charge in about 2 hours and 40 minutes (when
using the EN-EL25a) or 2 hours and 30 minutes (when using the EN-
EL25) (for an exhausted battery).
