取り扱い上のご注意
•
CPU
信号接点は汚さないようにご注意ください。
•
レンズマウントゴムリングが破損した場合は、そのまま使用せず販売店またはニ
コンサービス機関に修理を依頼してください。
•
テレコンバーターをカメラに装着していないときは、必ずテレコンバーターキャッ
プおよびレンズキャップを取り付けてください。
•
テレコンバーターを水にぬらしたり、湿気の多い場所に置かないでください。部
品がサビつくなどして故障の原因になりますのでご注意ください。
•
火の近くなど、極端に温度が高くなるところに置かないでください。外装に使用
している強化プラスチックが変形することがあります。
•
極端に温度差のある場所に急にテレコンバーターを持ち込むと、テレコンバーター
内外に水滴が生じ、故障の原因となります。テレコンバーターをバッグやビニー
ル袋などに入れて、周囲の温度になじませてからお使いください。
•
テレコンバーターを傷から守るために、持ち運ぶときはレンズケースに入れるこ
とをおすすめします。
テレコンバーターのお手入れ
•
レンズ面を清掃する場合、通常はほこりを払う程度にしてください。
•
最前面および最後面のレンズ面（フッ素コートあり）

レンズ面に指紋など油分を含む汚れがついたときは、柔らかい清潔な木綿の布また
は市販のレンズクリーニングペーパーでレンズの中心から外周へ渦巻き状に拭いて
ください。
-
汚れがひどいときは、少量の真水、無水アルコール（エタノール）、または市販のレ
ンズクリーナーで湿らせた柔らかい布を使って軽く拭いてください。
-
フッ素コート加工されたレンズ面は、撥水性、撥油性が高いため、水滴状の拭き残
りが生じることがあります。その場合は、乾いた布で拭き取ってください。
•
シンナーやベンジンなどの有機溶剤は絶対に使用しないでください。
•
テレコンバーターを保管するときは、直射日光のあたるところや防虫剤のあると
ころを避けてください。また、テレコンバーターを長期間使用しないときは、カ
ビやサビを防ぐために、高温多湿のところを避けて風通しのよい場所に保管して
ください。

レンズケースのお取り扱いについて
•
レンズケースはテレコンバーターを傷から守ることを目的としており、落下や衝撃
からテレコンバーターを保護する機能はありません。
•
レンズケースに撥水機能はありません。
•
レンズケースは材質の特性上、雨や水などで濡れた場合や摩擦によって、色落ち、
変色、色移り、伸縮することがあります。
•
ほこりは柔らかいブラシで払い落としてください。
•
表面に付着した汚れや水分は、乾いた柔らかい布で拭き取ってください。アルコール、
ベンジン、シンナーなどの溶剤は使わないでください。
•
直射日光があたる場所や、温度、湿度の高い場所に放置しないでください。
•
レンズ面や液晶画面などを拭くクリーニングクロスとしては使用できません。
•
テレコンバーターを収納して持ち運ぶ際、テレコンバーターが転がり出ないようご
注意ください。

Attaching and Removing the Teleconverter: Cautions
• Your teleconverter is for use with compatible Z mount lenses only.
- Do not attempt to attach incompatible lenses, teleconverters for F mount lenses, FTZ mount adapt-
ers, or other incompatible accessories, as this could damage the teleconverter, lens, or accessory.
- Teleconverters cannot be attached to each other.
• Attach the lens to the teleconverter before attaching the teleconverter to the camera. Do
not attempt to attach the teleconverter without fi rst attaching a lens.
• The lens mount on the front face of the teleconverter extends further than the mount base.
Elements inside the camera that come into contact with the lens mount could be damaged.
• Be fore attaching or removing the teleconverter, turn the camera off and move to a
location out of direct sunlight.

Attach the teleconverter to the lens.
• Align the lens mounting mark on the teleconverter with the lens mounting mark

Mounting lenses on a teleconverter reduces their speed (eff ective aperture, or “bright-
ness”): by 1 stop in the case of the TC-1.4x and by 2 stops in the case of the TC-2.0x.
Precautions for Use

• Keep the CPU contacts clean.
• Should the rubber lens-mount gasket be damaged, cease use immediately and take the
teleconverter to a Nikon-authorized service center for repair.
• Replace the teleconverter cap and lens cap when the teleconverter is not in use.
• Do not leave the teleconverter in humid locations or in locations in which it may be
exposed to moisture. Rusting of the internal mechanism can cause irreparable damage.
• Do not leave the teleconverter next to open fl ames or in other extremely hot locations.
Extreme heat could damage or warp the reinforced plastic exterior.
• Rapid changes in temperature may cause damaging condensation inside and outside
the teleconverter. Before taking the teleconverter from a warm to a cold environment or
vice versa, place it in a bag or plastic case to slow the change in temperature.
• We recommend that you place the teleconverter in its case to protect it from scratches
during transport.

• Removing dust is normally suffi cient to clean glass lens elements.
• The  uorine-coated front and rear lens elements can be cleaned as described below.
- Smudges, fi ngerprints, and other oily stains can be removed using a soft, clean cotton
cloth or lens cleaning tissue; clean from the center outwards using a circular motion.
- To remove stubborn stains, wipe gently using a soft cloth lightly dampened with a
small amount of distilled water, ethanol, or lens cleaner.
- Any drop-shaped marks left from this process on the water- and oil-repellent sur-
face can subsequently be removed with a dry cloth.
• Never use organic solvents such as paint thinner or benzene to clean any part of the teleconverter.
• Do not store with naphtha or camphor moth balls or in direct sunlight. If the teleconverter will
not be used for an extended period, store it in a cool, dry location to prevent mold and rust.

Using the Lens Case
• The case is intended to protect the teleconverter from scratches, not from falls or other physical shocks.
• The case is not water resistant.
• The material used in the case may fade, bleed, stretch, shrink, or change color when rubbed or wet.
• Remove dust with a soft brush.
• Water and stains can be removed from the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner,
or other volatile chemicals.
• Do not store in locations exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures or humidity.
• Do not use the case to clean the monitor or lens elements.
• Be careful that the teleconverter does not fall from the case during transport.

The TC-1.4x and TC-2.0x Z teleconverters are lens attachments that can be mounted
between the main lens and a Nikon Z mount mirrorless camera to increase focal length.
The TC-1.4x increases focal length by 1.4× and the TC-2.0x by 2.0×. Before using your
new teleconverter, be sure to carefully read both this manual and the documentation
provided with the camera and lens.
• The TC-1.4x and TC-2.0x can be used with Z mount lenses that support teleconverters,
namely (as of May 2020) the NIKKOR Z 70–200 mm f/2.8 VR S.
• Update the fi rmware for both camera and lens to the latest versions. The latest fi rm-

Fixation et retrait du téléconvertisseur: précautions
• Votre téléconvertisseur est conçu uniquement pour les objectifs à montureZ compatibles.
- N’essayez pas de fixer des objectifs incompatibles, des téléconvertisseurs destinés aux
objectifs à monture F, des adaptateurs pour monture FTZ ou d’autres accessoires
incompatibles, car cela pourrait endommager le téléconvertisseur, l’objectif ou
l’accessoire.
- Il n’est pas possible de fixer les téléconvertisseurs les uns aux autres.
• Fixez l’objectif au téléconvertisseur avant de fixer le téléconvertisseur à l’appareil photo.
N’essayez pas de fixer le téléconvertisseur sans avoir d’abord fixé un objectif.
• La monture d’objectif située sur la face avant du téléconvertisseur va plus loin que la
base de la monture. Les éléments à l’intérieur de l’appareil photo qui entrent en contact
avec la monture d’objectif pourraient s’endommager.

• Veillez à ce que les contacts du microprocesseur restent propres.
• Si le joint en caoutchouc de la monture d’objectif est endommagé, cessez
immédiatement toute utilisation et confiez le téléconvertisseur à un représentant
Nikon agréé pour le faire réparer.
• Remettez en place le bouchon de téléconvertisseur et le bouchon d’objectif lorsque
vous n’utilisez pas le téléconvertisseur.
• Ne laissez pas le téléconvertisseur dans des lieux humides ou dans des lieux où il
risque d’être exposé à l’humidité. La formation de rouille sur les mécanismes internes
peut provoquer des dommages irréparables.
• Ne laissez pas le téléconvertisseur à proximité de flammes ou dans d’autres lieux
extrêmement chauds. La chaleur extrême peut endommager ou déformer l’extérieur
en plastique renforcé.
• Les changements brusques de température peuvent être à l’origine d’une condensation
préjudiciable à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur du téléconvertisseur. Avant de faire passer le
téléconvertisseur d’un environnement chaud à froid ou vice versa, rangez-le dans un
sac ou dans une boîte en plastique pour ralentir le changement de température.
• Nous vous recommandons de ranger le téléconvertisseur dans son étui afin de le
protéger des rayures lors du transport.

• Normalement, enlever la poussière suffit pour nettoyer les lentilles en verre.
• Vous pouvez nettoyer les lentilles avant et arrière traitées au fluor comme décrit ci-dessous.
- Les taches, les traces de doigt et autres taches huileuses peuvent être retirées
avec un tissu propre et doux en coton ou un chiffon optique; nettoyez avec un
mouvement circulaire à partir du centre vers l’extérieur.
- Pour retirer les taches tenaces, essuyez délicatement avec un chiffon doux et légèrement
imbibé d’une petite quantité d’eau distillée, d’éthanol ou de nettoyant pour objectif.
- Les marques en forme de goutte éventuellement présentes suite à ce nettoyage sur
la surface hydrofuge et oléofuge peuvent ensuite être retirées avec un chiffon sec.
• N’utilisez jamais de solvants organiques comme un diluant à peinture ou du benzène
pour nettoyer un quelconque élément du téléconvertisseur.
• Ne le rangez pas avec des boules antimites de naphtaline ou de camphre ou à la lumière
directe du soleil. Si vous n’avez pas l’intention d’utiliser le téléconvertisseur avant
longtemps, rangez-le dans un endroit frais et sec pour éviter la moisissure et la rouille.

frottement ou d’humidité.
