Using the Features
Messages
Your phone provides support for two types of messages, SMS (Short Messaging
Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). The Messages cluster menu
provides the functions to write, send, read, and save text or multimedia messages. These
are network dependent functions, please obtain further details from your operator
¾ Tip: At the message details interface in any of the mailboxes, scroll to a field that
contains an unsaved number, press (View / Store) twice, and you will be able
to save the number to your phone book.

Function: Compose new SMS or MMS messages to be sent and/or saved.

MMS
A multimedia message is a message that may contain, aside from text, objects
such as photos, voice, music, images, animations, symbols, etc. Enter the MMS edit
mode to input text (please refer to the Input Methods section for more details) of the
message. You can press
for the following options during editing:
Send: confirm sending of message.
Insert: insert objects into the message such as Take a Photo; Record a voice;
Comment; music from My Ringtones, a picture or an animation from My Images;
Symbols; Business Cards; Calendar events; or items from the Mass Storage.
Remove: available after an object is inserted, this tool helps you remove inserted
objects.
ABC Mode: changes input method to ABC mode.
123 Mode: changes input method to 123 mode.
T9 options: change to T9 input options like English; Bopomofo; Pinyin; Simplified
Chinese Stroke; Traditional Chinese Stroke.
