If you have access to another approved battery or charger of the type and ratings
as yours, try substituting them to find out if the issue is with your phone, battery, or
charger.
I cannot insert the charger connector or other accessories to their ports.
Do not force them into the accessories and charging ports, check if you are using
the right charger or accessory, if you are trying to attach it to the right port, and if you
are attaching it in the right position.
I cannot see the battery status or the phone do not recognize the battery.
You are probably using unrecognized battery, always use original or manufacturer
approved batteries. Or your battery may be damaged, replace with a new one.
My battery is low.
Charge your battery as soon as possible, this will avoid missing or dropping
important calls. Prolong use of the battery in a low charge state will also shorten
battery life.
The standby and talk time is shorter now.
Mobile phones consume more power in poor signal situations even on standby, try
to move to a better location. Do not place your hand over or cover the antenna area
during a call, it will affect reception and require more power from your phone to
maintain good connection. If you are using a new battery, make sure it is a
manufacturer approved battery, it may take several charge and discharge cycles
before the battery will attain its optimal performance level. If you are using an old
battery, it is probably about time to replace the battery. Battery performance is
affected by ambient temperature; minimize using your phone in extreme temperature.
Check if you are over extending the LCD and keypad backlight time because of your
settings or because of frequent accidental key presses.
My phone cannot detect the SIM card or says the SIM is damaged.
Remove the battery and SIM card, check if metal contacts of your SIM and your
phone are clean, wipe dirty contacts with a soft dry cloth or with an eraser. At the
same time, check if the SIM is damaged or worn in anyway, if so contact your operator
for replacement. Otherwise replace the SIM card and battery. If problem persist,
contact your authorized service center.
I entered an incorrect PIN.
Be careful! You have only three tries to enter the correct PIN, if you forgot your
PIN, ask your operator for assistance.
My PIN is blocked.
Either you or somebody else had entered incorrect PIN three times, you have to (1)
input the PUK, (2) input your PIN, (3) input you PIN again to confirm. After 5 to 10
attempts (depending on SIM card) to enter the right PUK your SIM will be permanently
blocked. You will need to acquire a new SIM from your operator.
I cannot use a new SIM card with the phone.
Your phone may be locked to a network or a particular type of SIM card by or at
the request of your network operator. Or your new SIM access a different network that
is using a different frequency. Check with your network operator for more details.
