HOMEMADE CRINKLE-CUT
DILL PICKLES
PREP: 15 MINUTES
MAKES: 1 16-OUNCE JAR
DIRECTIONS
1 Place garlic, peppercorns, red pepper
flakes, and dill in the bottom of a
16-ounce jar.
2 Place the disc spindle in the Precision
Processor® Bowl. Place the crinkle
cut disc, crinkle cut side up, on the
spindle. Install feed chute lid and
place cucumber through the chute.
Select DISC, then use the pusher to
push cucumber through the chute.
When all cucumber has been cut,
place cucumber chips in the 16-ounce
jar with herbs and spice aside.
3 Place vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in
a saucepan over high heat and bring
to a boil.
4 Reduce heat to low and simmer for
5 minutes or until sugar and salt are
completely dissolved.
5 Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers
and add additional water as needed
to completely cover them.
6 Chill pickles overnight or up to 4 days
before enjoying.
INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon black peppercorns, whole
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
3 sprigs fresh dill
1 seedless cucumber, cut in half, ends trimmed
⅔ cup white vinegar
⅓ cup water
1 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt
3 tablespoons white sugar
