The Personal Stereo Cassette Player is intended for indoor, domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial applications. This appliance contains no user serviceable parts.

Powering your Personal Cassette Player The Personal Cassette Player is powered with two AA (UM‐3) batteries. Using batteries (NOT SUPPLIED) 1. Open the Battery Compartment (13) on the back of the Personal cassette player by sliding open and gently pulling upwards the battery door. 2. Check the polarity (+/‐) inside the battery compartment. 3. Insert two AA (UM‐3) batteries according to the polarity. 4. Re‐close the battery door.
IMPORTANT! Please always ensure batteries are correctly installed. Incorrect polarity can damage your Personal Cassette Player. Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix alkaline, standard (carbon‐zinc) and rechargeable (nickel‐cadmium) batteries. If you are not planning to use your Personal Cassette Player for an extended period of time, always remove the batteries. Old or leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
Playing a cassette tape 1. Insert Headphones plug into the Headphone Jack (12). 2. Put on the Head phones. 3. Open the Cassette Door (1) and insert a pre‐recorded cassette tape face upwards. 4. Close the Cassette Door (1). 5. Press the Play Button (5). 6. Adjust the Volume Control Knob (6) to your preferred sound level. 7. Press the Fast Forward Button(3) if you wish to rapidly advance the tape. 8. Press the Fast Backward Button (4) if you wish to rapidly rewind the tape. 9.
Using the Bluetooth Transmitter 1. Please make sure to turn on your Bluetooth receiver devices at first. 2. Before playing the cassette tape, slide the BT On/Off switch (7) to the “ON“ position, the Bluetooth LED Indicator (8)will be flashing 3. The connecting process can be taking up to 60 seconds. 4. When the connecting process is completed, the Bluetooth LEDIndicator (10) flashing will slow down. 5.
Charging function 1. Use USB C 5V adaptor (not included) connect to the USB C Charging Jack(10) 2. Slide the Battery Charging ON/OFF switch (9) to “ON“ 3. Charging LED (11) Indicator (Red LED) will light on while battery charging 4. Charging LED (11) Indicator (Red LED) will light off while battery fully charged.
IMPORTANT ! Do not use your cassette player while walking, especially when crossing roads. Avoid listening your cassette player at high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous, loud and extended play. Always keep volume at a moderate level so you are able to hear outside sounds and take those around you into consideration. Keep clean using a soft, dry cloth. Never immerse in water.
Automatic stop To protect your cassette tapes and prevent unnecessary wear to the cassette mechanism, this unit is equipped with an automatic stop system. When the tape ends during playing, the Play Button (5) automatically releases, which stops the cassette from running. Please note that automatic stop function only work for playing music. For fast forward or rewind, you need to stop manually. Cassette tape operating tips Tapes with a playing time of 120 minutes (C‐120) are not recommended.

If there is slack in the tape, remove the slack prior to inserting the cassette. To remove the slack, insert a pencil into the hub and rotate clockwise (see below).
Leader tape There is a ‘ leader tape’ at the beginning on each cassette tape. There is no recording on this area. Always allow the tape to run for about five seconds to reach the recording tape. Always keep the tape head clean. A dirty head can cause distorted sound or improper tape speed. To clean, simply depress the PLAY button (3) and use a small cotton swab with tape head cleaner or alcohol to clean the tape head, capstan and pinch roller (seediagram below).

Care & Maintenance Clean with a soft, damp cloth slightly moistened with water or a mild detergent. Do not use any chemical cleaners such as alcohol, benzine or thinners. Never leave the Cassette Player in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
