The Circle Pad Pro
is not work ing
properly.
Is the Circle Pad Pro in standby mode?
The Circle Pad Pro will enter standby mode after
5 minutes of inactivity. To exit standby mode, press
the ZL or ZR Button.
Is the Nintendo 3DS system inserted properly?
Ensure that the system is slotted in correctly and that
the bottom of the system touches the accessory.
Is the battery correctly inserted?
Insert 1 x AAA (LR03) battery correctly.
Has the battery run out?
Insert a new battery.
Is the software compatible with the Circle Pad Pro?
Check for this logo on the packaging of the
software to ensure it is compatible with this
accessory.
The Right Circle
Pad is not follow-
ing my motions
accurately.
Is the Right Circle Pad correctly calibrated?
If the Right Circle Pad is not following your motions, or
is sending motions to the software while you are not
using it, then it may be incorrectly calibrated. Refer to
the soft ware instruction manual for information on cali-
brating the Right Circle Pad.
The R Button on
the Circle Pad Pro
does not work.
The Circle Pad Pro can only be used while compatible soft-
ware is running. Functions available while the software is
suspended, such as the HOME Menu or internet browser,
cannot be controlled using the buttons on the Circle Pad Pro.

Before contacting Nintendo Customer Support, check the points below. Please also
consult the instruction manual of the relevant software.
5. Removing the Circle Pad Pro
Ensure that the Nintendo 3DS system is closed. Gently lift up
the system from the front until it is free of the accessory.
Do not leave the system open and do not lift it using the upper
screen, as this can lead to accidents.
