TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
Adjusting Shim
1. Using a depth micrometer and straight edge, measure the
dimension “Q
1 ” between the transaxle case end face and the
mounting face of the adjusting shim as shown.
2. Using a depth micrometer and straight edge, measure the
dimension “Q
2 ” between the clutch housing case end face and
the end face of reverse idler gear as shown.
3. Install the selected reverse idler gear adjusting shim onto the reverse idler gear.
