ess en t i a l i n f o r m a t i o n LOOSE FUEL CAP A Loose Fuel Cap warning message will display in the vehicle information display 01 when the fuel-filler cap is not tightened correctly. The warning message will disappear when the vehicle detects the fuel-filler cap is properly tightened and the reset button 02 is pressed. If the cap is not properly tightened, the Malfunction Indicator Light may illuminate.
f i r s t d r i v e features NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY™ SYSTEM The NISSAN Intelligent Key™ System allows you to lock or unlock your vehicle, open your trunk and start the engine. To lock or unlock the driver’s or front passenger’s door, push the door handle request switch 01 once. Push the door handle request switch 01 within 5 seconds of unlocking the door and all other doors will unlock. NOTE: It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).
first d ri v e f e a t u r e s STARTING/STOPPING THE ENGINE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (if so equipped) Depress the brake pedal. Move the shift lever to P (PARK). Push the ignition switch to START. NOTE: It is important to make sure the NISSAN Intelligent Key™ is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse). MANUAL TRANSMISSION (if so equipped) Depress the brake pedal. Move the shift lever to N (Neutral). Depress the clutch pedal to the floor. Push the ignition switch.
WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH Move the lever to the following positions to operate the windshield wipers: 01 01 Mist (MIST) - One sweep operation of the wipers. 02 Intermittent (INT) – Operates speed-sensing wiper system intermittently. 02 03 Low (LO) - Wipers operate at a continuous low-speed. 03 04 04 High (HI) - Wipers operate at a continuous high-speed. For more information, refer to the “Instruments and controls (section 2)” of your Owner’s Manual.
first d ri v e f e a t u r e s 03 02 01 FM/AM/XM®* RADIO WITH CD/DVD PLAYER (if so equipped) 01 VOL ON•OFF CONTROL DIAL Press the VOL ON•OFF control dial to turn the system on or off. Turn the VOL ON•OFF control dial right or left to increase or decrease the volume. 02 TUNE/FOLDER/AUDIO CONTROL DIAL To manually tune the radio, turn the TUNE/FOLDER/AUDIO control dial left or right.
TRUNK LID RELEASE Use one of the following methods to open the trunk: Push the trunk opener request switch 01 for more than 1 second while carrying the Nissan Intelligent Key™ with you. 01 Press the button on the Intelligent Key for more than 0.5 seconds. From inside the vehicle, push the trunk opener switch 01 down. For more information, refer to the “Pre-driving checks and adjustments (section 3)” of your Owner’s Manual.
s yste m g u i d e CRUISE CONTROL The cruise control system enables you to set a constant cruising speed. The system will automatically maintain the set speed until you tap the brake pedal, accelerate, cancel or turn the system off. For more information, refer to the “Starting and driving (section 5)” of your Owner’s Manual.
HOMELINK® HOMELINK® UNIVERSAL TRANSCEIVER (if so equipped) The HomeLink® system can learn and consolidate the functions of up to three different hand-held transmitters, operating items such as; garage doors, property gates, outdoor and indoor lights or alarm systems.
