NEW SYSTEM FEATURES AROUND VIEW® MONITOR WITH MOVING OBJECT DETECTION (MOD) (if so equipped) With the ignition switch in the ON position, the Around View® Monitor is activated by pressing the CAMERA button 1 , located on the Navigation unit, or by moving the shift lever to the R (REVERSE) position. The monitor displays various views of the position of the vehicle.
There are some areas where the system will not show objects. When in the front or rear view display, an object below the bumper or on the ground may not be viewed 2 . When in the bird’s-eye view, a tall object near the seam of the camera viewing areas 3 will not appear in the monitor. 2 The distance between the objects viewed on the Around View® Monitor System differs from the actual distance. Objects in the bird’s-eye view will appear further than the actual distance.
NEW SYSTEM FEATURES SiriusXM TRAVEL LINK* AND SiriusXM TRAFFIC* (if so equipped) Your vehicle’s Navigation System is equipped with SiriusXM Travel Link and SiriusXM Traffic capabilities. SiriusXM Travel Link provides access to real-time weather information and forecasts, nearby fuel prices, movie listings and stock quotes. SiriusXM Traffic provides information that may help to avoid delays due to traffic incidents. Traffic jams, roadwork, road closures around the current location, etc.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FUEL EFFICIENT DRIVING Fuel Efficient Driving Tips can be found in your Owner’s Manual. These tips are intended to help you achieve the most fuel economy from your vehicle. For more information, refer to the “Starting and driving (section 5)” of your Owner’s Manual.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION LOOSE FUEL CAP A LOOSE FUEL CAP warning message will appear in the vehicle information display 1 when the fuel-filler cap is not tightened correctly. To tighten, turn the cap clockwise until a single click is heard. 1 2 The indicator will extinguish when the vehicle detects the fuel-filler cap is properly tightened and the reset button 2 is pressed for more than 1 second. If the cap is not properly tightened, the Malfunction Indicator Light may illuminate.
CLOCK SET/ADJUSTMENT (Type B – if so equipped) To adjust the time and the appearance of the clock on the display: 1. Press the button 1 2. Touch the “Settings” key. 3. Touch the “System” key. 4. Touch the “Clock” key. 1 . 3 The following settings can be adjusted: • Time Format: The clock can be set to 12 hours or 24 hours. • Date Format: The date can be changed to 1 of 5 different formats.
FIRST DRIVE FEATURES NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® SYSTEM The NISSAN Intelligent Key® System allows you to lock or unlock the vehicle, open your liftgate and start the engine. It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse). 1 The operating range of the Intelligent Key is within 31.5 in (80 cm) from each request switch. To lock the vehicle, push either door handle request switch 1 , push the liftgate request switch 2 or press the button 3 on the key fob.
LIFTGATE RELEASE It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse). To open the liftgate, first unlock the liftgate using one of the following methods: • Press the • Push the liftgate request switch 2 . 1 button 1 on the key fob twice. FIRST DRIVE FEATURES OUTSIDE MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH The outside mirror control switch is located on the left side of the instrument panel. 1 To select the left or right mirror, move the switch 1 . Adjust each mirror to the desired position using the control switch 2 . 2 To prevent accidentally moving the mirror, move the switch 1 to the center (neutral) position. For more information, refer to the “Pre-driving checks and adjustments (section 3)” of your Owner’s Manual.
HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH HEADLIGHT CONTROL Turn the headlight control switch to the position 1 to turn on the front parking, side marker, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights. Turn the switch to the position 2 to turn on the headlights. 3 1 2 AUTOLIGHT SYSTEM (if so equipped) The autolight system will automatically turn the headlights on when it is dark and off when it is light.
FIRST DRIVE FEATURES WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH Move the lever to one of the following positions to operate the windshield wipers: 1 Mist (MIST) - One sweep operation of the front wipers. 3 MIST 1 2 Intermittent (INT) - Wipers operate intermittently. The intermittent speed can be adjusted by rotating the control ring 3 to increase or decrease wiper speed. 4 Low (LO) - Front wipers operate at a 5 High (HI) - Front wipers operate at a OFF 2 INT LO continuous low-speed.

When in Climate Control Mode, the selected temperature, air flow and automatic mode or manual mode are indicated on the display. AUTO BUTTON/TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL The automatic mode can be used year-round.
FIRST DRIVE FEATURES 7 AIR INTAKE BUTTON Press the air intake button to change the air circulation from the air recirculation mode to the outside air circulation mode. When the air recirculation indicator light illuminates, the flowing air is recirculated inside the vehicle. This system is used to avoid outside odors and to help adjust the inside vehicle temperature more effectively.

To manually tune the radio, turn the TUNE control knob left or right.
FIRST DRIVE FEATURES USB (Universal Serial Bus) CONNECTION PORT/AUX JACK AND iPOD® INTERFACE The USB port/Aux jack 1 is located underneath the climate control. When a compatible USB memory device, iPod® or auxiliary device is plugged into the USB port/Aux jack, compatible audio files 1 stored on the device can be played through the vehicle’s audio system. For more information, refer to the “Heater, air conditioner, audio and phone systems (section 4)” of your Owner’s Manual.
SYSTEM GUIDE TRIP COMPUTER With the ignition switch in the ON position, trip computer 1 modes can be selected by pressing the trip computer mode switch 2 on the instrument panel. The following modes can be selected in the display: 1 Trip A – measures the distance of one specific trip. Trip B – measures the distance of a second specific trip. 2 Current Fuel Consumption – displays the current fuel consumption.
SYSTEM GUIDE BLUETOOTH® HANDS-FREE PHONE SYSTEM A cellular telephone should not be used while driving so full attention may be given to vehicle operation.* SYSTEM OPERATING TIPS Press the or button to interrupt the voice prompts at any time and speak a command after the tone. To use the system faster, you may speak the second level commands with the main menu command on the main menu. For example, press the or button and after the tone say “Call Redial”.

The real-time map display and turn-by-turn voice guidance will lead you along the route. The Navigation System will continually update your vehicle’s position. If you have deviated from the original route, it will recalculate the route from your current location.
