Adjusting Camera Output Voltage (CHM22 & CXM22)
Camera output voltage can be adjusted by moving the voltage jumpers which are located in the middle of the circuit
board. Three options are available: 28VAC, 24VAC, or no voltage output.

If using CXM22 Cards
The CXM22 card has four camera ports on the front of it. Connections for the camera ports are shown above in the
chart labeled CAMERA PORT. All RJ45 jacks are wired to the T568B standard. Video from each of the four camera
ports is routed to a single RJ45 jack on the rear of the CX452 or CX254 unit. Each card has its own RJ45 jack and
connections are shown in the chart above labeled VIDEO PORT. Using a standard RJ45 cable you can then route
the video signals to the copper backbone of the facility. Control data for a PTZ camera can be connected using the
2 pin jack on the rear of the CX452 or CX254.

If using CHM22 Cards
When using the CHM22 card the video for each camera is provided out the front of the card on BNC jacks.
Connections for the camera port are shown below in the chart labeled CAMERA PORT. Video from the BNC can be
fed into other equipment as needed. Control data for a PTZ camera can be connected to the 2 pin jack on the rear
of the CX452 or CX254.
