copperand100Base‐FXfastEthernetfibercabling.TheMediaConverterenablesyoutoextendthedistanceofyour10/100BaseTX
Ethernetnetworkupto2kilometersoverMulti‐Modefiber.
TheConvertersare
equippedwith[1]duplexSCfiberconnectortransmitdataovertwofibersupto2km.
SixLEDindicatorsarebuiltinforeasymonitoringandsystemdiagnosticsforpower,fiberandUTP,linkandactivity.

Refertotheabovediagramwheninstalling.Usebestindustrypracticesandfollowalllocalbuildingcodes.
1)Connectanetworkpatchcablefromthenetworkequipment’sEthernetstothereceiver.
2)ConnectaSingleModefibercablebetweenthetransmitterandthereceiverusingSCfiberconnectors.
3)Connect
anetworkpatchcablefromthetransmitter’sEthernetjacktotheremoteIPdevice(IPcamerainthisexample).
4)Connectthesuppliedpowertransformerstothetransmitterandreceiver.
